If you love expressive paintings and yearn to paint with more color and feeling and to develop your own style, this is the place to start. Annie is a professional painter, teacher and writer in Colorado. She paints colorful, expressive floral, still life and landscape paintings. Her work is represented by galleries across the US, shown in juried art shows, collected by art lovers and recently was included in a museum permanent collection. She majored in Art History and Painting, taught at the graduate level and was a Docent at the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum for 10 years. She teaches painting workshops across the US and Canada and is a Certified Golden Art Educator, a Silver Brush Artist and the author of two books on painting by North Light Books--"Bold Expressive Painting" and "The Joy of Acrylic Painting".
Her workshops are great for beginners and experienced painters who want to express themselves in their own unique way. Grounded in the elements and principles of art, Annie teaches an expressive style of painting rather than realism. She is dedicated to helping artists find personal inspiration to reach their own goals.
